TQLM Planar Rotary Sieve

TQLM Planar Rotary Sieve

A planar rotary grain cleaner uses controlled feeding and multiple screen panels to remove coarse and fine impurities while separating grain into selected size fractions. It is suitable for low- to medium-capacity grain cleaning lines before drying, storage or further processing.

What Is a TQLM Planar Rotary Sieve?

The TQLM Planar Rotary Sieve is a low- to medium-capacity grain cleaning and size-classification machine for paddy, wheat, corn, soybeans and other technically confirmed granular materials. It uses a planar rotary motion and multiple screen panels to remove large impurities, small impurities and fines, and can create selected size fractions when the screen configuration is chosen for that purpose.

The machine is commonly installed at the first cleaning stage of a rice mill, grain-storage intake or feed-material line. It is a screen cleaner, not a destoner, magnetic separator, paddy separator or color sorter. The final screen perforations, feed rate and capacity must be selected for the actual material, moisture, impurity composition and required cleaning result.

Key Features

Planar Rotary Screening

The controlled rotary motion moves material smoothly across the screen panels for continuous cleaning and classification.

Multiple Screen Panels

Selected screen panels remove coarse and fine impurities and can produce different grain-size fractions when required.

Uniform Feeding

The feeding system distributes material across the working width to improve screen utilization and maintain stable separation.

Flexible Screen Selection

Round-hole or slotted screen perforations can be selected according to grain size, impurity condition and required output.

Optional Aspiration

The machine can connect to an aspiration and dust-collection system for the removal of light impurities and dust.

Easy System Integration

The TQLM can be integrated with feeding, conveying, destoning, drying and storage equipment.

How the Planar Rotary Sieve Works

Grain enters the feeding section and is distributed evenly across the screen panels. Planar rotary motion moves the material forward while different screen openings separate it according to particle size.

Large impurities remain on the upper screen and leave through the coarse-impurity outlet. Small impurities and fines pass through the selected lower screens. Clean grain or classified grain fractions are discharged separately for the next process.

Process Flow:

Controlled Feeding → Planar Rotary Screening → Impurity Removal → Size Classification → Clean Grain Discharge

Planar Rotary Sieve Application

The TQLM Planar Rotary Sieve can be used in:

  • Rice mills before destoning and husking
  • Grain storage intake systems
  • Paddy drying lines
  • Wheat, corn and soybean cleaning
  • Feed-material preparation
  • General grain receiving and processing lines

Typical System Flow

Grain Receiving → TQLM Cleaning and Classification → Destoning or Magnetic Separation → Drying, Storage or Processing

The TQLM mainly separates materials according to particle size. Additional equipment should be used when the process requires the removal of stones, metals, dust or optical defects.

FAQ

Is the TQLM a grain cleaner or a grader?

It is primarily a grain cleaner. With the correct screen arrangement, it can also separate grain into selected size fractions. More precise final-product grading may require dedicated grading equipment.

What impurities can it remove?

The TQLM removes large impurities, small impurities and fines according to particle size. Light impurities and dust can also be removed when it is connected to an aspiration system.

Can it process different grains?

Yes. It can process paddy, wheat, corn, soybean and other compatible grains by changing the screen configuration.

Can it be installed before a grain dryer?

Yes. It can be installed before a buffer bin or dryer when the selected model and screen configuration match the grain condition and required intake rate.

Does it remove stones?

It cannot reliably remove stones that are similar in size to the grain. A destoner is recommended when heavy mineral impurities must be separated.

How are the screen panels selected?

Screen perforations are selected according to grain size, impurity composition, required cleaning result and any required size fractions.
