Paddy dryer capacity should be matched to the complete rice-processing system rather than selected from rice mill capacity alone. Wet paddy intake, initial and target moisture, cycle time, operating hours, buffering and dry storage all determine whether the dryer can support the…
The right grain conveyor depends on more than capacity. A commercial grain plant may use different equipment for vertical lifting, horizontal transfer, silo filling, dryer feeding and short-distance discharge. The best choice matches the route, grain characteristics and complete plant layout. Grain…
Grain conveyor capacity should be selected according to more than a simple tons-per-hour requirement. The final design depends on grain type, bulk density, moisture, required throughput, distance, elevation, inclination, speed, inlet and outlet arrangement, and the capacity of connected equipment. A silo filling and distribution system transfers grain from receiving, drying or processing equipment to one or multiple storage silos. The system coordinates vertical lifting, horizontal distribution, silo selection, level monitoring and route control. A grain dryer depends on a properly designed conveying system both before and after drying. Wet grain must move from receiving and pre-cleaning through a buffer system into the dryer at a controlled rate. After drying, grain must be discharged reliably to…
Co-Grain completed an Ethiopia feed-mill storage project with two steel grain silos, each rated at 1,200 tons. The combined nominal storage capacity is approximately…
Co-Grain has shipped two batch paddy dryers to Uzbekistan: one 20-ton-per-batch unit and one 30-ton-per-batch unit. The mixed-capacity configuration allows the customer to process…
Co-Grain has installed two 20-ton-per-batch paddy dryers in Uzbekistan. The parallel configuration provides a combined nominal loading of 40 tons per batch while allowing…
